Simple, reliable and
flexible, ORGDRIVE is designed and built to meet the control needs of
any pipe organ in a single piece of equipment. Available in three different
module sizes according to the number of inputs and outputs, ORGDRIVE provides
a powerful and competitive alternative to other European and American
control systems on the market today.
Below are some of ORGDRIVE’s advantages:
Programmability. In addition to notes, stops and combinations,
all console functions (such as full organ and crescendos) and other organ
functions (like swell shutter control) are all managed by the same system.
Every function can be activated in the organ itself via any Personal Computer
equipped with a standard serial RS232, using software provided and updated
free by Eltec.
This software enables organ builders to configure the system and adapt
it precisely to their needs – from eight 61-note keyboards (a total
of 498 inputs) to a single manual with 58 keys and a 30-note pedalboard.
Alternative programming. Alternatively, organ -builders
can directly send us specifications: our personnel can then pre-prepare
a programme and supply it ready to use. The programmability and flexibility
of our system enable an Organist’s every need to be met, keeping
spare capacity and costs to a minimum.
Characteristics. A single ORGDRIVE installed in the Console
(known as the Master) can control, via 6-way cable or a remote
control, up to nine ORGDRIVE Systems (or
Slaves) installed in as many separate organ bodies irrespective of position.
Moreover, any ORGDRIVE system can be equipped with a comprehensive array
of
accessories, described in detail on this site.
For more information, the site contains brochures, Operation Manuals and
other data that can be downloaded at the Download section.
Installations. As of today there are about 1500 installations
- in Italy, Europe, America, and Japan
Main characteristics
and maximum limits of an ORGDRIVE system:
AT THE
CONSOLE:
- Keyboards = 8 Keyboards - 61 Keys/Keyboard
- Stops = 250 Stops
- Full/Tutti/Reeds = 16 Inputs + 16 indicator outputs
- Fixed combinations = 4 Groups with indicators
- Crescendo = 99 Levels of Pedal input - 32 Levels of
pedal position indicator output
- Cancels = 24 Inputs + 24 indicator outputs + General
Cancel
- Transposer = 8 Inputs (-4 to +3 semitones) with 8 indicator
outputs
- General Adjustables = up to16 Pistons with indicators
x 999 Levels and Level Freeze Option
- Departmental Adjustables = 8 Groups of 8 Pistons x
999 Levels or 16 independents levels
- Reversibles = 16 Inputs + 16 output indicators
- Automatic Pedal = 1 Input + 1 output indicator
- Swell controls = 64 managed Inputs with contacts and/or
with three Sliders to be installed on three pedals.
- Expressions = 32 Levels of output indicator position
for each of the pedals installed
- Radio link = 1 Input + 1 output indication, 869 MHz
Important:
- The inputs can be programmed to be connected as momentary
or latching contacts
- The indicators can be omitted if not required
IN THE ORGAN:
